Tin-type Portraits on the Mothers Who Make Allotments
As part of the Unlocking the Vaults project with The Exchange at University of Birmingham I spent a beautiful sunny morning making tintypes at the Mothers Who Make allotment in Coventry. Also making tintypes was my friend, jeweller Izzie Grove who is learning the process to incorporate imagery into her jewellery practice.
I'm looking forward to sharing more images from this session after the exhibition next summer. The next stage of this collaboration is for MWM to visit The Exchange building to explore and draw.
