Coventry Biennial exhibition at the Herbert
My calotype photographs and water photograms are being shown as part of … like a short cut through the brambles, the Coventry Biennial of Contemporary Art at the Herbert Museum and Art gallery from October 2023 – January 2024. These calotypes were made where the River Sherbourne disappears from view underneath the city at Spon End, Coventry.
The work was originally commissioned in 2020 as part of Coventry City of Culture work with Centre for Cultural & Media Policy Studies, Warwick University and the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience, Coventry University.
