'Blue is the Colour of Memory' Exhibition at Nuneaton Library
An exhibition of new cyanotype banners, that I've co-created in the community in Nuneaton with local residents has opened at Nuneaton Library. The exhibition, titled 'Blue is the Colour of Memory' runs throughout August 2023.
The cyanotype banners have been made in a series of workshop sessions at the library and with community groups such as In Stitches at the railway station and Escape Arts at the heritage centre. They celebrate the stories and memories of people who live in the area that I met and made large scale ambrotype portraits with at the library in March – April 2023 using my outsize Victorian studio camera.
I was interviewed for BBC CWR about the exhibition here. A link to local press about the exhibition is here.
