Photogenic Drawing and Calotype workshop at Lacock Abbey
I've really enjoyed leading a workshop in the historical photographic processes of Photogenic Drawing (1839) and the Calotype (1841) at Lacock Abbey alongside process historian Rob Douglas.
The workshops taught both processes in a day on 1st October 2025, a challenge that we successfully achieved. It was a pleasure to share these processes in the location where they were invented.
Hopefully this will be the start of more historical photographic workshops at Lacock, watch this space.
